The tanker trucks available to load raw materials for their distribution in our Terminal are subject to a certification process. This internal certification includes not only the internal standards and their enforcement to certain considerations by the SCT, but also international standards applicable to our country. In addition, this certification process takes into consideration our company’s own requirements, including the training of the operators in relation not only to managing risks associated with the product to be loaded, but also with other risks and safety standards that must be respected during the operator’s presence and execution of his duties in the terminal.

We include within the internal requirements that comprise this certification, the mandatory passing of mechanical integrity tests of the cargo tanks prior to any operation, including:

• Thickness Measurement by Industrial Ultrasonic testing
• Inspection of welded parts by magnetic particles
• Inspection of welds by X-Ray
• Hydraulic Testing

The certification of Tanker Trucks in TEPEAL is valid for one year and results in a program that prevents the entry of units and operators from outside of this Terminal or that have not been properly certified.
